The Lake-Sumter Leesburg campus will be holding Wing Fest on Saturday March 27 fr0m 11 a.m. to 1 p.m at the Sports and Recreation Complex. Admission for buffalo wing sampling and voting is $10 for adults, free for children under 12; all other amenities including a baseball game, carnival games, bouncehouse and craft show are free.
Feb. 9–UCF Decision Day (Leesburg)
The Lake-Sumter Leesburg campus will be holding an event to help students transfer to the University Of Central Florida. This event will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Student Center Lobby. Students are to bring a completed UCF admission application, official transcripts, and a $30 check or money order. Feb. 9 through Feb. 11–Resume Workshop (South Lake)
LSCC Academic and Career Services is offering a free resume workshop in the Cooper Memorial Library from Tuesday Feb. 9 through Thursday Feb. 11, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be opportunities for career research, job search and class resume projects. It will be beneficial to anyone needing help with a resume.
